Car Detailing Explained

Every automobile owner wants to have an auto that is totally immaculate. Per contra, it can be very difficult cleaning all the dust, grease and mud that accumulate on the exterior of your car every day. Car detailing can get rid of all the tough stains on the inside and outside of your car, making it seem brand new.

The conventional method of cleaning your cars entails vacuuming the interior and washing the exterior with soap water. On the other hand, a more comprehensive way to clean your car is by car detailing, as it is the best way to get both seen and unseen systems of your car clean. Not only does car detailing consist of cleaning the obvious interior and exterior of your car, but you can use the mobile steam pressure washers for cleaning the delicate surfaces of your car.

These portable car detailing systems have moderate to high pressure levels that can effectively remove oil, tree sap, grease, hardened mud and other stains from the exterior of your car, without harming or scratching the surface.

Before car detailers started to use pressure washers, they had only two choices available; these were conventional pressure washers and dry steam cleaners. Per contra, both these car detailing cleaning machines had many disadvantages, and did not clean vehicles properly. The Conventional pressure washer had a flow rate of 5 GPM and up; as such, when detailers used them, there was a lot of wastage of water. Additionally, these pressure washers had very high pressures (3000 PSI and more), and when combined with the high flow rate it could cause various damages and scratches to the surface of your car. Therefore, auto detailers no longer use these machines for car detailing purposes.

Even if detailers use dry steam cleaners, there can still be paint damage and scratches left on the surface of your car caused by the low pressure levels. This is as a result of the dry steam cleaners using only five percent of water, which needs continuous wiping and will result in the surface of your car being scratched. Additionally, the dry vapor from the dry steam cleaners is not powerful enough to get rid of dirt and dust that have accumulated on the surfaces of your car's exteriors, engines, wheels and glass.

The best job for your car is a mobile steam pressure cleaner or the old standard hose.
